Semita Leash

The Kirby K9 Semita Leash is a rugged and highly configurable working-dog leash designed for demanding professional training and operational applications.

Constructed from mountain-climbing-rated 9 mm Sterling rope, the Semita provides handlers with a durable line suitable for tracking, searching, tactical deployment, long-line training, and everyday handling.

Kirby K9 recommends using the leash without a traditional looped handle when performing searches, tracking, or tactical deployment. The handle-free configuration creates a more streamlined, snag-resistant line that can move more freely through the working environment.

For handlers who prefer a conventional grip, a sewn-in looped handle is available as an option.

One of the Semita's most useful working features is the option to add tactile plastic reference-point markers along the rope. These markers allow handlers to determine approximately how much line remains between themselves and the dog through touch rather than having to visually inspect the leash.

The reference markers are positioned according to leash length by default, and Kirby K9 also allows handlers to request specific marker locations when needed.

Multiple attachment options are available, including climbing-rated locking carabiners, a Kong Frog, and a marine-grade stainless eye bolt.

With multiple rope colors, lengths, attachments, handle configurations, and reference-marker options, the Semita Leash can be tailored to the needs of individual handlers and working-dog applications.
