When paired with a compatible handheld, the PT 10 supports remote training at distances of up to 1 mile, depending on the handheld being used. The PT 10 also incorporates Garmin's BarkLimiter technology for automatic bark correction. This provides handlers with an additional tool for managing unwanted barking without requiring a separate bark collar.

For improved visibility during early morning, evening, and low-light training, the receiver includes remotely operated LED beacon lights. These lights can be activated from a compatible handheld to help locate the dog from up to 100 yards away.
